At long last, I’ve finally gotten off my butt and made a website for our channel, our work and our team. It’s still very under construction, so please go easy on me.
This will be a work in progress as we test and design the site on the fly, but here is a rough plan going forward so that you know what to expect:
- Upload all Youtube video content for easy viewing. This will be our number one goal, so that in the case of Youtube’s copyright system failing us, you can always come to OPMeat.com to watch whatever you want.
- Redesign content pages for easier navigation. In order to save money, I’m designing this site myself. Over time, I’ll find better ways to organize and access content for a better website navigation experience.
- Create website-exclusive content. This content will be experimental and small, giving us creative outlets to share with you. They could be blogs, comics, behind-the-scenes looks, outtakes, short videos, etc. We want to test the waters with our new website to find out what you would like to see on it.
- Integrate a Patreon rewards structure. So far, our Patreon has mostly been for people who simply want to support the show, and we appreciate every Cool Caper who’s given even one dollar to us to continue doing what we do. But we want to offer more in return for their patronage, and once the core of the site has been refined, we’ll look into making content specifically for our Patrons.
